Cinnamon is known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antidiabetic, anticancer and antimicrobial properties. Cinnamon tea is loaded with antioxidants. Cinnamon bark contains catechins, polyphenols and flavonoids that have free radical-scavenging properties. These antioxidants protect the body from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.

Moreover, cinnamon tea can strengthen the immune system and fight off pathogens. Cinnamon contains an active ingredient known as cinnamaldehyde that is known to effectively fight against fungal and bacterial infections.

Lower Blood Sugar: A review of 9 studies which included 641 participants found that taking cinnamon reduced systolic and diastolic blood pressure by an average of 6.2 mm Hg and 3.9 mm Hg, respectively.
