Dua to Recite when Calamity Strikes

Who, when disaster strikes them, say, Inna Lillah Wa inna ilayhi Rajiun (Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return). They are those on whom (descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance.

Surah Al Baqarah 2:156-157

-- Umm Salama, the wife of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
If any servant (of Allah) who suffers a calamity says:

" Inna Lillah Wa inna ilayhi Rajiun, Allahumma Ajirni Fi Musibati Wa Akhlifli Khairan Minha, 

(We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return; O Allah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it),' Allah will give him reward for affliction, and would give him something better than it in exchange. She (Umm Salama) said: When Abu Salama died. I uttered (these very words) as I was commanded (to do) by the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). So Allah gave me better in exchange than him. i. e. (I was taken as the wife of) the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).

Sahih Muslim 918 b

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Said..

Whoever dies during the day or night of Friday, Allah will protect him from the trial of the grave."

Benefits of Sending Prayers To Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Increase in salutations upon me on the day of Friday (Jumu'ah) and its night because they are presented to me then."

"Wheresoever you are, send your peace and blessings upon me because it will reach me and I will reply back to you."

Hadith

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said "The best of days is Friday; so increase in conveying peace and blessings on me that day, for your blessings will be submitted to me. The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how can our blessings be submitted to you while you will be decayed?" He (peace be upon him) said, "Allah has prohibited the earth to decompose the bodies of Prophets. (Sunah Abu Dawood, Sunan an-Nasaee al-Jami', Sunan Ibn Majah & others)

Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace & blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt my mention (i.e. send salah), Allah will exalt his mention ten times.''

Daily Reminder "Things not to Do"

"Do not talk about your riches in front of the poor. 

Do not talk about your good health in front of the sick. 

Do not talk about your power in front of the weak. 

Do not talk about the joys of your life in front of the sad ones.

Do not talk about your freedom in front of the captivated. 

Do not talk about your children in front of those who cannot have any.

Do not talk about your parents in front of the orphans, for their wounds cannot withstand more pain."

Abu Sa'id (Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Dates were brought to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and he said: These dates are not like our dates, whereupon a man said: We sold two sa's of our dates (in order to get) one sa', of these (fine dates), whereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: That is interest; so return (these dates of fine quality), and get your (inferior dates) ; then sell our dates (for money) and buy for us (with the help of money) such (fine dates).
